Here’s what American’s Natural Gas did for you today.

Edit: Don’t forget this one – Strip Joints and Prostitutes: Here’s what America’s Natural Gas Alliance did for you today.  I got so many hits on that one the server crashed.

Could we get a statement from the gas industry as to how many prostitutes per well?

Good point David above. After you get that number, maybe we could then get the RRC and/or the TCEQ to set a rule limit of prostitutes/well. After all, the operator could always apply for a ammendment or adjustment–which would be automatically rubber-stamped!

Hey, don’t forget about the jobs created in the medical community when the guys get the itchy scratchies, or the drippies and the jobs in the pharmaceutical industry. And if they are careful up front they create jobs in the prophylactic industry!

Jana, I was just going to say to think of all the medical jobs to deal with the STD’s, the abortions, the rehab centers, etc., from an influx of prostitutes. Then, there’s the customized car businesses for pimps, more bars & nightclubs built to find hookers in, plus the expanded vice squads for Law Enforcement, plus the Lawyers to prosecute & defend these cases in Court.

You are so much more polite than I was! Let us not forget the jobs created in the hotel industry too!

I can never forget the hotels!!! In Decatur, they slapped up a bunch of cheap motels, a couple of bars and a bunch of fast food joints. Once when our electricity was off, I decided to go spend the night in one of those motels. We went to motel after motel and they were all filled with roughnecks. Finally we found one with one vacant room. We walked in and I almost threw up. It was disgusting!

Now all those cheaply built motels are crumbling and vacant. Decatur is on the other side of the boom.

All this talk of prostitutes got me to thinking, how many directors are on the board at TRRC?

Our local news ran their pictures last night.

I thought that and the apparent complete lack of action or effort against the customers (last time I reviewed my biology it took two to make the crime) was particularly shabby.

Are the prostitutes &/or johns residents?

Well, the gas companies are in the business of screwing people, so should we expect much different from their employees?

I can only imagine what kind of flowback you get down hole of one of those.

Both Alaska in the mid 1970’s, & Wyoming in the early 1980’s oil booms had these issues.
