07-23-2024 Fort Worth residents feel tremors from West Texas earthquake | Fort Worth Star-Telegram, https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/article290335454.html#campaignName=fortworth_afternoon_newsletter

Possibly in the area where EPA is preparing a Permit for 3 CO2 injection wells for Oxy

See Commission Shifts Facebook notice at https://www.facebook.com/CommissionShift/?locale=nn_NO/, which states that: ”
This is likely to be the EPA’s only public engagement event before the permit is drafted later this month. This project is the first of its kind in Texas, and will set the standard for future Class VI permits in the Permian Basin, East Texas, and along the Gulf Coast.

And the EPA Public Notice at https://projects.erg.com/conferences/epa/EPARegion6WorkshopInfo.asp/. The EPA Notice states that:

QUOTE Members of the public are invited to attend, learn, and ask clarifying questions about:

Long-term underground storage (geologic sequestration) of carbon dioxide (CO2) in underground injection wells.
EPA’s role in reviewing and approving applications for permits to construct and operate underground injection wells for long-term storage of CO2.
Overview of the measures and regulations that protect underground sources of drinking water from underground injection activities.
Upcoming opportunities to provide comments to EPA on a proposed underground injection project in Ector County called the Brown Pelican (Stratos) project. The project applicant proposes to establish three underground injection wells for CO2 sequestration. END OF QUOTE

It appears that this quake was in the Snyder area where they have previously had earthquakes from C02 injection.
