New 60 Minutes report on fracking

August 20, 2012 By TXsharon

“These are vital things to know before any of this should be taking place, and you don’t know.” ~60 minutes

You might think this is America, but it’s not. Fracking impacts are the same worldwide and the concerns are legitimate according to the International Energy Agency.

All the health impacts are the same. The only difference is the accent.

Fracking concerns are legitimate, international energy chief says
Posted on August 17, 2012 at 3:01 pm by Simone Sebastian

The head of the International Energy Agency took aim at natural gas producers that dismiss public concerns about hydraulic fracturing, calling on them to increase transparency of the controversial extraction technique.

Increased transparency will not fix the problems. Only fixing the problems will decrease the opposition. I don’t think industry is capable of fixing the problems.

Run run run just as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the Oil and Gas Man.

I used to get fed up with the posts from the Booger County guy telling me to run, but his recommendations were true. Unfortunately, now is the time to leave if you can. All of this is ridiculous when you think of where you live, but no one in your Government will ever help you so it’s time to move to a place where this extraction is not possible. At least for now.

    MOVE.

Not because it is right or fair, but because it is the only recourse you have at this point. They will not stop and they will not change until there is a catostrophic event and even then it will take years and years to prove it. Just like the tabacco industry.
