By its very nature, the gas industry is in the midst of what can most accurately be described as systematic and well-planned “resource colonialism,” invading communities and extracting their resources, often even displacing citizens from their homes and taking over their property. Militarization is but a logical progression in a scheme of this sort.

Yet, the Shell CEO & others call for more transparency by energy companies:
“We need to do a better job of listening and responding,” Shell CEO Peter Voser said during a midday keynote speech. “As an industry, we should insist on strong regulation and enforcement to ensure everyone in the industry does the job right.”
How do the PSYOPS fit in with the above? Any pro-industry types want to stab at this one?
This is just one technique of PsyOps. Preach the “good line” that the peasants want to hear–then do just the opposite. Done all the time.
This is an EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT article about PsyOps. A perfect example of how we should not trust any branch of our government at any level. Also do not trust any corporate mouthpiece, expecially O&G types. This situation of spying and snooping will make us loose confidence in our government.
