Jones resigned from Texas Railroad Commission

February 13, 2012 By TXsharon

Jones resigned

I was at the Denton task force meeting when I received this news. We’ll miss Elizabeth. She has a great singing voice.

About Sharon Wilson

Sharon Wilson is considered a leading citizen expert on the impacts of shale oil and gas extraction. She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

Good, after she loses the senate race, I hope we never see her again.

All I can say is “Better the devil you know.” It was hardly a secret that Jones is an Industry Whore and saw her position as Head Cheerleader for the frackers. God only knows who Perry will appoint, but I guess it’s not really possible to have a worse person in that chair. Goodbye, Lizzy. I have a parting tip for ya-if you actually do get yourself elected, you’ll actually be accountable to We The People, so keep that in mind. I know you have no idea what ‘accountability’ is, so that’s why I’m pointing it out to you now. See ya soon!

Regarding “a worse person in that chair,” maybe Christi Craddick?

Yes, Christi will be worse. She will probably get it too because the mafia will throw lots of money in her direction and Texans are on the wrong channel.

Ms. Jones never met a double standard she didn’t like. She spews about the Constitution, then steps all over it by voting for 100’s of Rule 37’s in which private property was taken away without just compensation, violating the 5th Amendment. She talks about local control, then cheered each time it was taken away from local communities in the BS. She rails against campaign contributions, when she received thousands upon thousands from an industry she was supposed to regulate. Then she doesn’t even bother to show up (the only Commissioner of 3 who doesn’t) at a session allowing public input on the very controversial MIPA process. Your choice is to “serve”, heh, serve special interests maybe, but certainly not the people of Texas.

Darn right, Eric. We were extremely disappointed that she couldn’t take the time to show up when we had driven all the way down to Austin from the Barnett Shale.

She is willing to *RULE* on taking away property from people over and over again? But she can’t be bothered to simply show up at a 2-hour hearing to HEAR what we have to say about all of it?

And she wants to be a Texas State Senator?? Wow. You are so right, Eric, anyone who would vote for her is voting for someone who has no idea what it means to serve the people of Texas. No idea.

Retired Petroleum Engineer, Dale Henry, from Lampasas TX filed to run on Dec. 15 2011. He mailed me a copy of the filing!!! I have spoken with him on a few occasions and he is all for public protection over industry’s bottom line protection. That is what has been missing and is long overdue. VOTE FOR DALE HENRY!
