Gastem USA’s Last Gasp

Gastem USA has gone from being a shale gas acreage play to one dinky sandstone well And it had to invoke compulsory integration to put together the 160 acre well site  http://www.scribd.com/doc/79532037/Gastem-s-Last-Gasp

Gastem tied up about 25,000 acres in Otsego County, NY from the granite to the heavens, for next to nothing. Could not find any shale gas in any meaningful quantities and have either shut in or P&A’d their wells. So they ran out of hype on that play. And money. This Hanehan 1 well is a few miles from their other acreage, but they had to CI a sliver of land to make a quarter section spacing.
