About Sharon Wilson

Sharon Wilson is considered a leading citizen expert on the impacts of shale oil and gas extraction. She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

No dogs were harmed during this test, the same cannot be said by operators in the Barnett Shale.

That wasn’t whiskey in that cup, was it?

    Hey, a reminder . . .

The big Cooke/Montague County public hearing re EOG’s proposed (ie already started without a permit) fracking sand mine is Tuesday night 7pm, (8/23) Muenster TX at the School auditorium.

It will be local citizens fighting to protect the Trinity Aquifer, which provides the drinking water for thousands of North Texas families, vs. EOG (aka Enron Oil and Gas) and their lawyers and lobbyists.

The meeting is chaired by the TCEQ.
Will TCEQ yet again ignore the will of the people and rubberstamp another reckless fracking boondoggle?
Will State Senator Craig Estes and State Representative Rick Hardcastle actually represent their constituents or will they fall to their knees and polish the boots of Enron?

Come to Muenster Tuesday evening and find out!

ha ha! Yeah, I gave my dog a glass of whiskey and she passed out the in sun.

I wish I could be at two places at once. I’m in DC for the Tar Sands Action so I will miss the Muenster meeting. I really hate that.
