Fracking News

Range Resources is a tree killer too.

July 25, 2011 By TXsharon

This is Range Resources’ great landscaping job at the Rayzor well site. See, they do have a well-deserved reputation. Those Treegator water bags don’t work too well unless you put water in them but maintenance is just too hard when you’re busy trying to cut corners and make up fairy tales.

Chesapeake is not the only driller that kills trees. I guess drillers only know how to waste water. According to this WFAA report, Chesapeake forgot that water has other uses besides fracking.

UPDATE: Oh yeah. I was just reminded that Range Resources sold all their Barnett Shale production assets. So, this just goes to show you what will happen. They waltz in promising the moon and sky, ruin everything on the horizon, then sell out to another company that won’t take care or honor commitments. Have a glimpse of your future.

Can’t wait to hear the spin on this one….Maybe Range is waiting to see what CHK says first. In the meantime, we should be realizing that now there’s two majors running dangerous operations near our homes, schools, parks and churches…and they forgot something as simple as watering the trees. Now there’s a vote of confidence when it comes to drilling right.

Maybe they watered the trees with flowback, after all its 99% water.

“But we can’t water the trees because Texas is in the midst of the worst drought on history. Ranchers are having to sell their cattle, lakes are drying up, folks can only water every other day for a maximum of 10 minutes. We’re being green.”

I think, Obama should slam the gavel down and say NO more WATER FOR GAS COMPANIES.

    I would.

I mean after all, we can’t wait for Perry to do something like that.

If they are behaving this badly with what we can see can you imagine what is going on behind the walls that we can’t see?
