    I suppose drilling will go through this radioactive waste too as it spreads out under-ground. No worries, it's all good.

    What is Texas thinking…

    Legislative Session 2011, JUST SAY NO to nearly every bill proposed. Haha, pretty soon my state legislator will be getting sick of hearing my voicemails.

    Read the statement from Glenn Lewis former TCEQ employee. It is shocking to see this Radiation dump be approved. http://www.scribd.com/doc/46168072/Tceq-Glenn-Lewis

    A minor note, for people who wish to track this bill: it is SB 1504, not HB 1504. As of today, it appears to have been approved by the Senate and voted favorably out of House Committee.

    $ and Forgiveness…

    That's all Texas is thinking.

    It passed! So the big question to me is how the biggest radioactive pork barrel of all time rolled through the House and Senate. Clearly with every article on the Andrews dump comes to obligatory Rick Perry cronyism observation. But why in the hell did anyone besides Rick Perry go for this, let alone a majority in the Senate and House?!
