S. Africa says "Get the frack out"

Way to go South Africa!

South Africa halts Shell’s Karoo gas plans
South Africa’s government has halted plans by the oil firm Shell to extract natural gas from the Karoo desert by using a method known as “fracking”.

“Cabinet has made it very clear that clean environment together with all the ecological aspects will not be compromised,” said government spokesperson Jimmy Manyi in a statemen

Seems like other countries know something the U.S. doesn’t.

    I appreciate RSA government’s step. They might be great businessmen but in the end we have the duty to conserve our environment, at least for our sake only.
