The no time to blog open comment blog post

March 22, 2011 By TXsharon

I am hunkered down working on something for you, Dear Readers, so I have no time to blog.

Below are a few topics of interest. Please feel free to comment and add links of your own.
The Texas Railroad Commissioners are going to vote on the Parker County water contamination. I’m betting they uphold their original position that Range Resources is innocent.
BREAKING UPDATE: I won the bet. They voted 3-0 to uphold their original do nothing stance. haha! link
TCEQ is facing deep budget cuts.
Somebody is just now figuring out that fracking is not sustainable.
The Big Gas Mafia is freaking out about the FRAC Act. Watch for mega $$$,$$$,$$$ spent on bullshit propaganda.
I just love the comment made by EOG about the Montague County pits.

Fraser amended SB 875 but it’s still a very bad bill.

Interesting about the budget cuts at RRC and WCEQ. As far as I'm concerned they can take both agencies off of public funding–allow them to go to O&G and other polluting industries to solocit their funding. A bunch of tax money would be saved–and nothing would change!!!

Har har har anonymous. The RRC decided to uphold that they did a good job Brownie. Fiddling over absolving themselves while the gas patch burns.
