Don Young did a beautiful job of listing our Gas Patch Heroes from this past year. It’s impossible to list all the heroes and some like to fly under the radar but you know who you are.
There is one very important hero that Don missed.
Barnett Shale Heros: Sandra DenBraber
I don’t think most people fully realize what Sandra accomplished. Through her tenacity, her case was the first time the TCEQ took enforcement action against an operator based on a doctor’s letter. But, that’s not all! Carrizo cannot continue their drilling operations unless and until they develop a strategy for doing so without making Sandra sick.
