Shocking Water News for Texans!

November 2, 2010 By TXsharon

…”it’s time for chambers of commerce, municipal officials, corporations, our Texas legislature, and individual citizens to start making decisions based on a severe shortage of water in areas like Fort Worth, Houston, and all the points in between.”

UPDATE: Oh wait! T.Boone Pickens to the rescue! As I said before, he plans on selling us water after Big Gas ruins or depletes all of ours.

There Will Be Water
T. Boone Pickens thinks water is the new oil—and he’s betting $100 million that he’s right

If water is the new oil, T. Boone Pickens is a modern-day John D. Rockefeller. Pickens owns more water than any other individual in the U.S. and is looking to control even more.

I dont know if I should laugh or cry when I see the state sponsored TV add's that preach conservation. -Fix those dripping faucets etc etc. When you think about the millions of gallons of water it takes to frack one well one time, and that water is gone forever.

I'm sorry, is this going to affect my lawn in some way next summer? No? Then I don't give a rat's patooey.

Remember, "If it's yellow, let it mellow…" Think how much water we can all conserve if we only flush our toilets once a day.

May be T Boone Pickens will pump some up from the Gulf at a small charge, like buying gas we'll take our water tank to the water station.

Wow 3 of the top ten cities running out of water are in Texas. The economic future of this state is in question, add to the equation all the gas drilling water usage and the water that is being polluted. Also add a 20 billion dollar short shortfall in the budget for next year we have not been told about yet. This is a crises for Texas in the making.

Oh, but not to worry! We reelected Perry so we can continue down the fast track to hell.

    Could Texas suck in harder?
