BREAKING: Intimidation tactics by Big Gas in the Barnett Shale

September 18, 2010 By TXsharon

In the wee hours of the morning, Tim and Christine Ruggiero’s mailbox was knocked down and so was Calvin and Tiffany Tillman’s.

The timing of these intimidation tactics indicates that industry understands the seriousness of the recent news about how drilling devalues citizens property.

Seventy Five Percent Loss in Property Values due to drilling

Notice to Big Gas: Intimidation isn’t going to work for you anymore. I know it has worked in the past because, when a big time New York Times report came to Wise County, he said the intimidation tactics by industry here is the biggest untold story in the Barnett Shale. Let’s be clear about the tense used: it’s worked in the past but it won’t work any more.

Here is some great advice about how to handle intimidation.

People who do this kind of thing are cowards. I’m not afraid of you! I’m a mother and I’m PISSED OFF!

I wanted to post on City Councilman Rivera's Facebook the land devaluation article-but he un-friended me. And he sent me a letter in the mail appreciating the interest I'm taking in Arlington-. I guess he is a passive bullier?

Maybe the driver forgot he left his balls hanging on his tow-bar.

It doesn't take balls to do this sort of thing. As Sharon said, people who do this are cowards. They are running scared, the truth is coming out, people are banding together, sharing information and they are stuck with borrowed money that they have spent for acquiring leases and now the gas futures are down. The creditors will soon be comin' a callin'. back to the vandalism, word to the vandals, we carry side arms and all kinds of bigger guns and will protect our families and homes if we feel that we are in imminent danger.

Shoot, I'm married to a Barnett Shale Mom, I fear FOR THEIR safety, not hers. I'll bet on a Texas woman, before an okie man, any day of the week!

The articles about the PA DHS spying on fracking protesters & about fracking dropping property values are getting passed around in various channels in the US.

Enough so that vandalism won't make them go away!

Tampering with mailboxes is a Federal offense and should be reported to the authorities.

My guns stay loaded and I have warning signs while entering my property. I will not only protect my family, but also my friends and neighbors aswell. Plus I'm a damn good shot. Love thy neighbor.

When you live out in the country, you have to be prepared for….varmints. You never know when you'll come across one, but usually, they scurry around at night.

Last I checked, it was LAWFUL to use DEADLY FORCE to protect your life and property as well as your neighbor's property from theft or vandalism after dark. Especially when it's those damn varmints.

I happen to know that Allison_Ranch_Lady skinned a big bear in the wilderness and took great pleasure in cutting off the bear's penis. I hear the emasculated bear is now stuffed and stands at the top of her stairs. I still want to see that bear. Love and prayers to Allison_Ranch_Lady, her daughter, husband and neighbors, we are on your side. Anon 5:36, bet she's never forgotten anything, especially in a fight.
