Fracking News

Fracking lover Michael Burgess’ Dirty Energy Money

August 26, 2010 By TXsharon

At a recent town hall, a constituent asked Representative Michael Burgess if he would ever support the FRAC Act. His answer was an emphatic “No!” even though he is fully aware that Texas has no regulation specific to hydraulic fracturing.

If you check the Dirty Energy Money website, you can see why Burgess isn’t interested in doing anything that might upset his Big Gas. He is a paid protector. I love the way this website has Burgess’ picture in the center with spokes going out and on each spoke is the logo for an oil and gas company that funds Burgess’ political policies. Hover your cursor over the logo and you can see how much influence that particular company wields in shaping Burgess’ policies.

Notice that the Tea Party funder, Koch Oil, is one of Burgess’ biggest funders.

Thanks Sharon now I am mad enough to get involved again.

Blissfully ignorant is not one of my better qualities but the dogs love the extra attention while it lasted.

The politicians are crooked and bought-off. Next they fund and created the agencies in the executive branch. Lackluster efforts at best–little or no help here–bought-off agencies. And then we have the oil-soaked court system in Tx. All crooked and bought off judges and hangers-on at the courts.

Just to complete the circle – Koch is funding opposition to designating Formaldehyde as a carcinogen:

STOP saying the obvious! Stand up and fight. I do not care who is bought off. Get them out. Texas politics has been shameful to me for many years.
Look if 10 people over the age of 110 voted in the last elections in Denton County
then you can surely get some voters under 80 to go to the polls.
I AM TIRED AND HAVE BEEN FIGHTING THIS BATTLE FOR OVER A YEAR. PLEASE JUST VOTE AND GET YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE. LISTEN TO THE ISSUES DO A LITTLE RESEARCH AND THEN TRUST ME YOUR CONSCIOUS WILL BE CLEAR AND YOUR MIND WILL KNOW WHICH PATH YOU WILL CHOSE TO FOLLLOW.
