Some 2,000 landowners in Pennsylvania will receive a share of $1.75 million and could get as much as $20 million over the next few years as part of the settlement of a federal class-action suit against a Texas-based gas company drilling in the Marcellus Shale.

    That's because it works entirely on the honor system. Which is funny, because first, you must have honor. Perhaps they should hire a numbers cruncher like Econonomist Ed Not Scientist Ireland to do the math for them, because he's pretty familair with numbers as it relates to oil and gas. Good thing for him he has Ph.D in Economics, because he sure don't shit from shinola when it comes to science.
