Can't you almost hear all the drilling companies preparing to sue Flower Mound over…..

Wait. Was that just an empty threat?

They can go ahead. Maybe the O&G industry is going for a 0% approval rating. They are the only group of people on the face of the planet with a lower approval rating than Congress, congrats! You've managed to pretty much piss off the whole world, why not go for EVERY taxpayer in Flower Mound too.

Flower Mound City Council and Mayor are charged with protecting their citizens, to not do so would make them negligent in their duties!

How about protection from lawsuits? Do you think the people of Farmers Branch are pleased with their town's actions? And it's usually the landowners that are the ones threatening to sue not the gas companies.

Lawsuits over what? A suspension of drilling for 6 months? I think we have enough date, and certainly enough reason-i.e. gas well explosion of the day to justify a moratorium. Drilling companies are drunk with greed, and complain horribly about the 85 inspectors for more than 5000 rigs and drill sites. How terrible it must be to be so heavily restricted and regulated. Poor things.

Sue over a 3 month delay, you wouldn't even get a hearing in that time, give me a break.
