I have spoken at Arlington meetings along with Kim against several rezonings and drilling permits.
While I applaud her creativity, the Arlington City Council (or at least several members of it) are really trying to put the reigns on many of these drillers. Mayor Cluck will listen to concerns and vote down drilling zoning and permits, but he has little patience for escapes.
I think we need to strive not to marginalize ourselves in the eyes of our elected officials. The pro-"drill everywhere" crowd (like Mel LeBlanc) eat this stuff up and tell their fellow councilmen "See – they're all looney!!!"

This is my day job…I donate my time to uncovering the greed and corruption and fight for my family and neighbors to keep the already nasty air we have to breathe. We can't stand to have more added-we live in the Entertainment District and need to test there and prove that a gas well near the Cowboy Stadium will be just too much! I speak out against all wells in Arlington hell I spoke out against some in Ft Worth too.
