Ladd Biro was runner-up for the
prestigious Sidney Award in March for his article “Wake up, Flower Mound!”
The Sidney Award is given once a month to an outstanding piece of socially-conscious journalism by the Sidney Hillman Foundation, which also awards the annual Hillman Prizes every spring.
The first place winner also took on Big Gas in his piece, “Drill, Maybe Drill?”
