Corinth has Barnett Shale Money Changers too

April 13, 2010 By TXsharon

I’m recalling a post I did several months ago in honor of Corinth’s Christian Center:

The Barnett Shale Money Changers

Spiritual leaders in the Barnett Shale use God
to excuse their greed.

Corinth Cares has the link to the video of an interview with some Corinth residents and the Lake Sharon Christian Center.

The president of the Christian Center says the health concerns are, “so far, unproven.” My friend points out that so is the existence of God but his/her good works are evident. Some things you take on faith and others on the preponderance of the evidence.

Too bad he didn’t know about the state’s testing results when he gave that answer yesterday.

How many souls will be lost because of the treatment of people here and this institution, spending more time reading their gas leases than the good book? What seeds are planted in the minds of those who do not know him with this action? God is love, not a hydrocarbon. Learn it, and LIVE it, after all, you do preach it.

"Minerals are a blessing"….another interpretation of this is that they are a test, and if so, will you pass or fail on judgement day Mr. Forson? If you want others in the community to respect your beliefs, you should respect the belief of your neighbors who "believe" this is bad for them (whether it is proven or not), funny how that works both ways.

It is clear to me that Mr. Forson has only ears to hear XTO Bob, and not of the people. Mr. Forson, along with the other decision makers in that so-called Christian Church stopped listening to anyone once the XTO checkbook came out. What a shame.
