7 VIDEOS: What PA residents thinks of Range Resources

April 13, 2010 By TXsharon

The people in Pennsylvania are IRATE over what Range Resources calls being a “good neighbor.”

I hear some strange shenanigans are happening at the Rayzor Ranch wellsite. It seems Range doesn’t like people videoing them being a “good neighbor” so they are building a fence along the driveway/entrance. News Flash: They don’t own the property and I doubt they bothered to get a permit.

These videos really have raised my blood pressure. It just shows how there is very little any local people can do. The person who is running this meeting is determined to give the gas drillers every benefit of doubt and is downright rude to his own citizens, cutting them off and making them feel foolish. This is inexcusable. I think the gas company here (Range) acts smug and shameless when the local residents are bringing up valid issues. This is very hard to watch.

Pennsylvania or Texas it is all the same.
I attended the Flower Mound meeting and the way the mayor treated the residence of the city was painful and embarrasing to watch.
Range thinks there is not one thing we can do to stop them so they are smug and shameless. It has become my mission in life to be the burr under their saddle they can't get rid of.
WE may not be able to stop them but maybe we can slow them down enough the aggravation is not worth it. Or better yet they realize they will have to shape up or ship out.

Ranges big fence building activity slowed down today after several call to the city. It is now T-post and 2 strands of barb-wire but I have called the city back because it is to close to the road and I want to see a permit.
Still great video and picture spots though so bring your lawn chairs and coolers and let's really irritate them.
Range already told the fire marshal Charles Meyers there are people taking pictures and that is who is parking in the wrong place.
