OK, but is voting for Rick Perry the appropriate response to this information? I don't think so.

IMO, the appropriate response is to contact Bill White's campaign and educate him on what we want.

Just another example of a BBO. Been Bought Off politicians, typical. But, White is better than good hair! Just an example of why I refer to them (as a whole) as WP's.

I agree with what Sharon said: Contact White's campaign and educate him about your issue. Then, go out and work HARD to get him elected in November.

Brown Bess is right. Voting for Rick Perry is not the answer. We know we'll get the same thing from Perry that we've always gotten – Nada. Zip. Fergedaboutit. What we'll get from White is somebody who will listen to both sides of an issue, not just the side that donates to him, as our current Governor does. White is incredibly smart. He has a proven record of working to find solutions to hard problems. And, he does have a chance of winning. So, please don't stick a fork in Texas quite yet. I'm not giving up, and I don't want you to, either.
