PBS filming in the Barnett Shale

March 2, 2010 By TXsharon

Last week, PBS was filming in the Barnett Shale for their upcoming documentary, The Future of Electricity.

The host of the show, David Biello, has a podcast for Scientific American on fracking: Fracking to Free Natural Gas?

I took the camera crew around to some of my favorite places and visited some brand new ones. One site is in the LBJ National Grasslands in the never before touched Natural Research Area. I’ll have some pictures of that site later.

Do they have a date set for when it will air? This is great that it will be on PBS. It may open eyes of those that don't live near drilling.
