Industry Bullies DISH again

February 10, 2010 By TXsharon

This is so lame. Now they’re asking DISH for information on everyone who donates to the DISH legal fund. So what? What’s that supposed to do? Scare me?

My name is Sharon Wilson and I gave $50.00 to the DISH legal fund and next month I’ll give another $50.00 or more.

New Public Information Request

I just wanted everyone to know that the industry has stated they will be making a request for all of the names of the people who have donated to our legal fund. I appreciate those who have donated their hard earned money to our cause, but wanted everyone to know that the industry will likely at least know your names, of course unless you donated cash. Please rest assured that we will not give information such as account numbers etc, and we will seek the state attorney general’s opinion on anything that is questionable. Thanks again.

Chesapeake Energy’s errant email exposes the bully behind the DISH threats.

If you want to donate to the DISH legal fund to prevent Big Gas from bleeding them dry, the link is in the right column.

About Sharon Wilson

Sharon Wilson is considered a leading citizen expert on the impacts of shale oil and gas extraction. She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

This is a pathetic attempt to bully and intimidate! Shame on them! Mayor Tillman is my hero! If only Flower Mound's mayor had his courage!

As Billy Bragg said: "If you've got a blacklist, I wanna be on it."

I haven't contributed yet, but this little missive ensures I will. Thanks.

What right does the industry have to obtain these names? I've never heard of this. Reminds me of political campaigns with a candidate's donors' names online by zip code.

Asking for the names of the individuals that donated? Seriously! I am definately donating now! I hope everyone does, even if it is only $5.00 or $10.00! Is anyone old enough to remember when the "politicians" created a list of names, like Lucille Ball, accussing them of being a communist. Here we go again!

My name Is Timothy Ronald Ruggiero and I am a Caucasian male, 45 yrs old, and I live at 415 Star Shell Rd in Decatur, TX 76234. My cell phone is 917.763.8901. I drive a Bronze 2005 F-150 truck. I work as an INVESTIGATOR for the world's largest bookstore. My wife, Christine and I are giving the town of Dish $1000.00.

I am a conservative, gun nut, Jesus freak, anti-abortion…and thanks to you, gas industry, you can add Environmentalist to that list as well. God may have given Man dominion over the Earth, that doesn't mean cut down every tree and burn everything to the core.

We'll be looking at who YOU gave money to. It's a two-way street. You don't get to ask or demand who gave money to Dish and not expect that we will now be asking who YOU gave money to. Not that we don;t know, but we'll be asking just the same.

Well, at least we know the RRC commission isn't biased toward them, because they never receive any money. Yeah maybe, in opposite world.

Their is an election coming up in Texas. I'd like to know where the money is going from these energy producers. Which politicians take Oil and Gas money at all levels of government. (City,County,State)
