Range Resources Fracking at Rayzor Ranch

February 7, 2010 By TXsharon

Reports from the nieghbors say it’s extremely noisy and produces copious amounts of smelly smoke and vapors. It’s probably not a great time to utilize the park across the street.

What a mess! As if those sound barriers really make a difference. What a joke. I wonder how much benzene is in the air right now? These poor people.

Imagine how loud it would be without them. Atleast their trying to reduce the noise. Just wait until the water trucks are rolling in and out Non-stop.

What's the point in even having a park? Drilling in this location should not be permitted.

These gas wells drill down and then go out horizontal. So, the well site could be far away, and yet the horizontal section on the well could be very close. There are new subdivisions in Trophy Club where they have several horizontal wells running under the homes.

The worst thing about gas well fracking is that large volumes of toxins are pumped into the ground under high pressure. This high pressure is at a rate that far exceeds the public water supply pressures, so these chemicals, if they travel up through ground fisher near any city water line, will enter the water supply. When the high pressure frak is done, the toxins can no longer enter the water supply. So by the time any water tests are done, the toxins are gone. The family unlucky enough to live nearest to the water line breach, will get these strong toxins in their water. Once the well is complete, the toxins are removed. So, after the public is exposed and their health damaged it is hard to trace the cause. It is common knowledge that the whole reason we have water towers is to keep a constant pressure on the water system pipes, because this is what keeps the mud and contaminants out. All water supply systems have minor leaks, but the constant water pressure keeps mud and other contaminants out of the water supply. When you sand frak a gas well with enough pressure to break rock, you can cause frak chemicals to enter the water supply.
