Texas Railroad Commissioner Carrillo in Action

January 24, 2010 By TXsharon

Have you ever wondered just what a Texas Railroad Commissioner does? Well, here’s a glimpse brought to you by Calvin Tillman, Mayor of DISH who recently spoke before the Texas Railroad Commissioners.

My Experience With The Texas Railroad Commission

They initially began to question the qualification of our consultants. Which is exactly what the industry has done. However, both of our consultants are far more nationally recognized as being experts in the area of air quality and health effects, than anyone who works for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), or the Railroad Commission of Texas. Both are recognized as experts or geniuses, and are often called to serve on national committees on these subjects. I would suspect that no one from the state agencies mentioned have ever been asked to serve on anything at a national level.

There are some very sharp people who work for TCEQ, but they will likely be working for the industry soon. However, Mr. Carrillo did not do that research, before he questioned their qualifications, and therefore, makes himself look like a fool. I suspect that a jury would feel the same way; if we ever made it to that point the incompetence of these agencies would become very apparent. So they should likely be careful in what their chasing, cause they just may catch it.

Commissioner Carrillo then proceeded to question Tillman about the “Massive DISH Airport” which is absolutely hysterical. Please go read the whole account HERE.

Carrillo is up for reelection so we do have a choice.

You are absolutely wasting your time talking to the RRC, unless you are bragging about the polluting industry bast****! The RRC will NEVER let anything bad about O&G get into the official record, believe you me!
