Exactly. Get and keep people addicted to using large gobs of energy, much of it really wasted. And then continue to build a profit making industry that savages communities and makes folks feel guilty if they do not cooperate in feeding the addiction and at the same time suggesting that phony "energy independence" will make them safe in a dangerous world.
