FW Leaders Demand Answers on Barnett Shale Pollution

State environmental expert provides few answers to mayor, City Council

Mike Lee has a thorough report:
Pressure grows for testing at gas facilities

Fort Worth is by far the biggest city in the Barnett Shale, with more than 700,000 residents, and more than 1,000 operating gas wells in the city, with 500 others permitted or planned. Dozens of wells have been permitted within a few hundred feet of homes, parks and businesses.

About Sharon Wilson

She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

Don't move to Ft.Worth for quiet, quality of life living. In fact, there are few counties in Tx where that is possible, largely because of O&G operations. Booger County certainly is NOT a place for quality of life living.
