Irony Alert: No Trespassing Signs in DISH, TX

November 24, 2009 By TXsharon

DISH, TX has some new No Trespassing signs up! It’s ironic because they were erected by industry NOT the citizens of DISH. The citizens of DISH can actually spell despite all the benzene and neurotoxins industry pumps at them.

Industry trespasses and takes half the town with compressor stations, processing plants and pipelines everywhere. Then their toxic emissions trespass into the air all across the country side. Yet it is industry, not the citizens who put up “No Trespassing.”

You could cut that hubris with a knife.

I had to get a couple of pictures of Mayor Calvin Tillman with the new signs.

Maybe they want to keep air testers away from the wells & equipment.

Call me jaded, but that won't fix the pollution problems.

Is that the British spelling of "prosecuted"?

The industry can't spell because they have been sniffing too much benzene and toxins!!! As I said before, the O & G industry has "you know whats" the size of Texas. Since the some of the samples for the Dish study were taken up to 4 miles away, do they really think keeping people off the sites will even make a difference?
