CHK Won’t Drill in NY but Carter Ave is Still a Target

October 28, 2009 By TXsharon

Chesapeake has decided it’a too much of a hassle to drill in NY.

It’s ironic that the following is what jumped out at me today in this Star-Telegram opinion.

Chesapeake has said that a dozen other routes it explored are more problematic than Carter Avenue, the Star-Telegram’s Mike Lee reported.

Carter Avenue needs to be more “problematic.” That seems to be the solution. CHK doesn’t weigh things in lives risked, they weigh in problems caused.

Cause more problems.

If that's how they want it–game on. CHK needs to be reminded not to mess with Texas and definitely "Don't frac with Texans!"–Scott Carter
