Dish air study detects pollution

By Peggy Heinkel-Wolfe (Peggy just won an award for the Behind the Shale series)

This report is a DISH Scoop! It includes some new information about the toxins found and the harm they cause.

During the study, Rich interviewed residents and learned that some experienced farmers were having trouble with their animals, including young ones that fall asleep and never wake up, with no external signs of trauma.

But, that’s not all to the report…

PUBLIC MEETING TODAY

If you have natural gas development in your area, you need to be there!

This meeting is focused on the dirty emissions that irresponsible infrastructure brings to communities. This meeting will help us understand much more about the levels of neurotoxins and carcinogens that are being emitted and the impacts to the communities.

Please attend the public meeting Monday, October 12th at 7:00PM.

Death by gas drilling from America's clean energy bridge fuel. Are you listening Mr. Henry Waxman?

Heard that the Sierra Club is in favor of natural gas as a 'bridge fuel'!

That's the same Sierra Club that voted to dam up the Colorado River and submerge Glen Canyon in the 60]s, one of the greatest environmental crimes in history. The SC needs to get on the bus. Natural gas is a bridge fuel to nowhere.

Explain why you think that natural gas is a bridge to nowhere.

It's a bridge to nowhere because it's taking nowhere. Only one more variation of the same 'ole dirty fossil fuels.

Same kind of "going to sleep" animals have been seen in Booger County! Lots of bad gas there!
