Uneducated Voters F@#K Up Texas

March 5, 2008 By TXsharon

Voters who only show up to vote for president then just choose any name that sounds good for the down ballot races have no f*cking clue how much damage they have done! Now we have some weak candidates who have little or no chance of beating the Republican in the general.

HELLO PEOPLE! The down ballot races have more direct control over your lives than the presidential race EVER will.

Yes, I know. That’s not the only race. The CradDICK Ds won big last night.

    jps: Aren’t you cute? heh

People who vote Democratic are so busy trying to “put food on their families” and make a living in this Trickle ON Republican created economic disaster that they don’t have time to research and learn all they need to know about all the down ballot candidates. Therefore, we need to figure out a better way to inform them.

Now, Republican voters are the ones who would be stupid. Case in point: Phil King. However, since there are less and less of THOSE voters (over one MILLION new Democratic voters in Texas) I’m not too concerned about it. Just blowing off some steam. =)

Voters at your precinct caucus were very uneducated. A 16 year old from Manhattan who campaigned for Obama outside the Decatur Civic Center was to help organize after telling Democrats he was from the state. Seems he knew all the rules, signed up the Obama voters on blank sheets of paper without the voter list to verify if they voted in the primary. He was very helpful to come up with the list of delegates but who knows who turned in the caucus election results or who turned in the sign-in sheets and minutes.

It was tough to see all those ballots coming in for Gene Kelly. And yes, in a perfect world, Dale wouldn’t have to fight in a runoff. I just don’t understand how someone like Thompson who didn’t really campaign could get that many votes just on the “whose name sounds more familiar?” principle.
