    The real cost of the war based on 2006 data was $2.267 Trillion. This was estimated by Joseph Stiglitz, winner of the Nobel Prize for Economics. This icludes long term care for the serious wounded & care for the families of the killed troops. Also replacement of the equiptment that is lost or just wore out. Other stated & hidden costs in the Fed budget for the war. Alos losses to Economy from what the disabled & dead could have added otherwise. Higher Oil prices as results of war. But Bush’s friends are making lots of money….
