My quest for the perfect cuppa

January 5, 2007 By TXsharon

I love and seriously need my morning coffee so, when my coffee maker died recently, I spent some time looking for the perfect replacement.

If I can’t have this guy

waking me up with a steaming hot cup of coffee from freshly ground Ruta Maya Organic and Shade Grown Coffee beans in my favorite cup, then I want the next best thing: A coffee maker with a timer so the aroma of my coffee will great me the moment I wake up. I’ve already owned several coffee makers with timers and they have never worked correctly or they quit working all too soon. But I’m not easily deterred so I bought a brand new, fancy coffee maker with a timer.

The next morning I woke up and breathed deeply but there was no aroma of coffee. The damn thing didn’t work! I hereby give up on coffee makers.

I got a French press

I now make the absolute, seriously best cup of coffee in forever and forever.
