Well blowout and oil spill in Cooke County

August 4, 2011 By TXsharon

I heard this through the Cooke County internal grapevine:

There was a well blow out up here in Cooke Co. and an oil spill in Clear Creek

I tried to Google up a media report but found nothing yet. You might remember Cooke County is where EOG “don’t call us Enron” wants to put a 1400 acre frack sand mine that will use 40 water wells.

Cooke County is right next to Montague were EOG “don’t call us Enron” was burying waste pits (a common practice in this industry) an four water wells got contaminate.

If you know anything about this, please update us in the comments.
