FACTS ON INDUSTRY’S RESPONSE TO FWLNA’S REPORT FOR THE FWISD

March 9, 2011 By TXsharon

I have two things to say right up front:

  1. The FWLNA used data from the BSEEC’s air study conducted by TITAN. The data comes from industry, specifically Ed Ireland so you either stand by your data or you don’t.
  2. A peer is a person who is equal to another in abilities, qualifications, age, background, and social status. That means the dude at Wacky World of Waste is not a peer of Dr. Sattler so he is not qualified to peer review her stuff. But, “Holy lots-o-dots Batman,” that was a nice try. Feel free to go ahead and peer review my stuff. See, that works because you’re a blogger and I’m a blogger

Here is the FWLNA’s fact sheet:

The first time I met Julie Wilson of Chesapeake Energy she informed me that Chesapeake only hires the "best and the brightest" to do their research. And yet these "best and brightest" came up with Jeff Bowman and truly believed him to be a credible peer of Dr. Sattler. The Powell BS Newsletter actually published his "peer review" giving a whole new perspective on the name BS.

To the Bat Cave Julie! Alfred's offered to "teach" you about research. I can't wait for my next copy of "Comic Book Science."
