Weston Wilson said the 2010 People’s Oil and Gas Summit was the “best conference I have ever attended.” What an endorsement from someone with a long and illustrious career! I heard that sentiment echoed by hundreds of attendees.
Wilson also said that it was sheer genius to bring the activists, citizens and scientists all together because it forced the scientists to deal in “concrete situations rather than abstracts.”

The takeaway message: Find the commonalities and learn to work together.
We also had the rare and extraordinarily valuable opportunity to have a peek at the newest Rovian tactics Big Gas plans to use to further their agenda of continuing to flog the hydrocarbon dead horse into human extinction. In a stroke of genius, they plan to use our very own issue–Global Warming–to terrify citizens into seeking the false solution of natural gas. I will have a lot more to say about that later.
I have to add that Pittsburgh is beautiful and interesting and makes one hella sandwich!
