All my life I’ve heard how tough Texans are. Ya know: Don’t Mess With Texas! It’s a lie though. Apparently you can mess with us all you want and we will lie down and roll over.

Queensland Landowners refuse access to gas and coal giants
FARMERS, greenies and Bob Irwin are joining forces to take on mining giants in what is shaping as the biggest environmental battle in Queensland’s history.
Dozens of landowners have started blocking access to their properties by coal and gas companies in the Surat Basin, stretching north and west of Toowoomba. Scores more are ready to join them.
Friends of the Earth campaigner Drew Hutton is rallying city-based environmentalists to support them by joining planned blockades. They say they are ready to face court, and jail, if necessary.
And Bob Irwin – father of ”Crocodile Hunter” Steve – has joined the fight saying the landowners ”should lock their gates, not let the bastards in and fight for their rights”.
