The community has stood silent for too long, and continued to allow mob rule on our basic civil rights. We should use our time to speak out against CA’s Prop 8, and other recent marriage bans in Florida and Arizona. If we are to make change in California, Texas, and the rest of the country, we must come together as a community and say NO MORE!
As the President-Elect Barack Obama said, “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
