I think that fairy tale, or “story” as AM calls it, needs a rewrite.
Chesapeake is America’s #1 polluter, a company devoid of any environmental conscious that is dedicated solely to profits achieved by propagandizing the citizens and lying about the so-called clean-burning energy. The mission is a story of running rough-shod over the little people—land and mineral owners—in communities wherever they drill to increase the stockholder’s prosperity. AM sells its soul for big money by carefully crafting propaganda designed to fool citizens into believing that Chesapeake is philanthropic and progressive and cares about their pathetic lives. The story, or myth, will fool most of the people for a while. Soon, very soon, they will read between the lines but it might be too late.
