UNT takes steps after TB case diagnosed
The University of North Texas was notified this week that someone associated with the school had been diagnosed with tuberculosis, and the university has taken steps to prevent others from being infected, officials said.
The university made contact this week with nearly 1,300 people, including eight who had prolonged contact with the person, said UNT spokeswoman Kelley Reese. The university will offer free testing for them, she said.
