The scam: Dumping hazardous waste

November 22, 2007 By TXsharon

I used the “Google” and found out a little more about this: BUSTED: Texas Firm Puts Hazardous Waste in Class II Injection Well. Water at Risk!

The president and operations manager bought hazardous waste from various energy companies and sold some for additives. They “ordered” their staff to transport the rest to class II disposal wells.

The employees were given fake documentation that indicated the waste material was from oil production.

It is forbidden to put hazardous waste into class II disposal wells in order to protect the water. I find this strange since the Texas Railroad Commission claims the disposal wells can’t fail so there is no need for concern about contamination. Incongruent.

This isn’t the first time for these guys.
