Wendee Holtcamp Online Writing Course: Learn nature and travel writing from a pro!

Several months ago I met a Bohemian!

She was an invited speaker at a Nature Writing Symposium I attended and her highly informative, organized, passionate talk so resonated with me that I tracked her down on the internet and discovered she teaches writing. I learned a great deal and was inspired by attending her talk so I decided to enroll in her Online Writing Course.

In 2000, she founded the non-profit San Jacinto Conservation Coalition.

She has traveled to the Galapagos Islands, the Peruvian Amazon, all across the U.S. and many other exotic locations writing about nature and the environment. A trip to Nepal is scheduled for this winter.

My perspective overall is that I think the world has too many environmental and social problems for citizens to just simply go to work, go to sleep, and live for vacation or retirement and not do any kind of civic work.

And Wendee does her share of civic work.

I am excited about this opportunity to expand my knowledge and improve my skills in the hopes that I will be more effective in my own civic work.

If you have the desire to learn about nature writing or improve your writing skills, I happen to know that there are a very few openings in her September class.
