VIDEO: Range Resources Flaring

February 19, 2010 By TXsharon

I’ve had about a half-dozen emails saying how horrible the fumes are.

Please call the TCEQ Hotline!

Call the TCEQ hotline as you suggested if you want to be entertained–kind of like going to a movie. It ain't gonna help. Nothing will help against O&G pollution in Tx.

I can't smell the fumes from Dallas but I'd like to call in and give TCEQ a peiece of my mind about this photo! You would think a company would have the common sense to refrain from flaring if for no other reason than all the publicity and investigations. Are they egging on a fight?

I thought the RRC stated they do not allow "Flaring" at the Argyle meeting. Did I misunderstand?

The TRC representative said they do not allow venting. Please see Barnett ShaleTown Hall Meeting: Corrections and unanswered questions for the truth including pictures and video of flaring.

Flaring happened at a site in west Fort Worth a year ago for almost a week. It's a pad south of White Settlement Road and the Trinity River where they are drilling another well head at this very moment. I can hear the drilling at night if I step outside. This is about the sixth time that site has been drilled.
