Dear Land & Mineral interest owner

You are receiving this letter because it appears that you own land or mineral
interests in Texas.

We are a group interested in ensuring that mineral interest owners and Landowners are treated fairly by the Oil and Gas operators and gatherers they are dealing with. It has come to our attention that many Mineral owners may have been significantly underpaid for their minerals for many years.

We have examined a large number of public and private records and we believe this practice is widespread in the oil and Gas Industry.

If you are interested in learning if you have been underpaid, we will examine your lease and your recent statements and give you a confidential opinion at no cost to you. If in fact you have been underpaid, we are prepared to seek to recover the underpaid amounts. We have a group of accountants, attorneys and other oil and gas professionals, who will work with us on your behalf. You will owe us nothing unless we are successful in securing a recovery for you. If we are successful, then we will be paid out of the amount recovered.

In addition, if you are a landowner and believe that oil and/or gas operations or pipelines have caused environmental damage to your property please contact us. We are prepared to review your concerns and determine if we can secure a cleanup or recover other damages for the pollution.

If you would like us to look into either the underpayment of royalties for your mineral interests or environmental pollution to your property, please contact us by phone at (254) 559-5599 for an appointment or by mail addressed to 124 E. Walker, Breckenridge, Texas 76424.

This could be a good thing. Any small glimmer of hope on the horizon is certainly welcome for Texans who are being, and have been ruined by O&G. These lawyer will have their hands full because there are more people and organizations to fight, not just the O&G operator. There's the RRC, the TCEQ, local governments, politicians and sometimes even certain aspects of the legal system and local lawyers. A lot of people will "team up" against a person that is having problems from O&G in TX. People certainly need the help.

Does anyone know anything about this company, other than what they suggest they can do for RIO, or landowner?

I'm sorry, don't know anything about the attorneys. I heard they want to bring a class-action suit for incorrect royalty payments but I haven't verified that. It might be worth your time to call them. If you do, please let us know what you learn.

Just read somewhere that a class action is unlikely given the fact that many of the leases are not the same and the payments required by each may be different.
