The Cost of the Iraq War

September 22, 2007 By TXsharon

I missed this when it came out so it’s not new information. Just in case you also missed it:

From TMP

Nobel Laureate Joseph E. Stiglitz and Harvard budget expert Linda Bilmes plan to present this week a paper estimating the cost of the Iraq War at between $1-2 trillion. This is far higher than earlier estimates of $100-200 billion.

And this from the comments:

But don’t worry, the reconstruction will pay for itself. I mean, we will be greeted as liberators. I mean, protecting the nation from weapons of mass destruction is worth the cost.

Um…stay the course!
