These are our Texas Congressional Members and their League of Conservation Voters SCORECARD based on their votes on key environmental and energy issues. Please send Senators Cornyn and Hutchinson the letter posted HERE and ask them to co-sponsor S.1215:Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals (FRAC) Act. They won’t because their corporate sponsors wouldn’t like it, but write them anyway.
Please find your Representative at, Who Represents Me, send them the letter posted HERE, and ask them to cosponsor H.R. 2766:Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals Act of 2009S. If your Representative has a score less than 77% on their SCORECARD, they probably won’t co-sponsor because their corporate sponsors wouldn’t like it, but write them anyway.
Then please send the same letter to Lloyd Doggett (address below) and Eddie Bernice Johnson (address below). Explain that your Representative is not likely to be a co-sponsor so you are asking them if they will step up for Texans to help ensure that we have safe drinking water by co-sponsoring H.R. 2766.
