It’s no surprise to read that Tarrant County ozone limits are exceeded. The air in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and even in far north Wise County where I live is a threat to public health.
Saturday morning I left for a road trip. By the time I got a few miles north of the Barnett Shale drilling the air was clear and visibility was Miles and Miles of Texas.
Here I sit, on my friend’s back porch, looking at the mountain and blue sky behind her house. I used to see a sky like that from my porch. Now it looks like Mordor.
