Another mysterious earthquake in the Barnett Shale. Wonder what could have caused it.

It begs the question….since we are all suffering from the drought…whatever is going on there…Are they using WATER???!!!

No matter if it’s coming from our municipal water supply in Grand Prairie (illegal right now by the way) or from another source!!!!

Maybe it’s that injection well that caused the series of earthquakes in the fall of 2008…but it was supposedly closed down. They always do things like this on holidays and weekends for obvious reasons. Checking…

Right, you can set your watch by it. If it’s a holiday or weekend, they are messing something up.

While we are checking and waiting for word, or for more information, or for NO information when everyone returns from their HOT, drought-stricken weekend ~ here’s a reminder link to what happened in 2008:

Note that Chesapeake “denies” any responsibility. Here’s the quote:

“Chesapeake maintains that a direct, causal relationship between saltwater disposal wells and seismic activity in the D-FW area has not been scientifically proven,” Chesapeake spokesman Brian Murnahan told The Associated Press on Wednesday.”

Well, of course, they had nothing whatsoever to do with any of it back then.

These irresponsible corporations are winning primarily because of the pacifism that has been trained into so many americans. If people could understand that misinformation is our enemy, and that waiting to vote every four years is not being active in democracy. Vote with your dollars, because without our support, the corporate state will become weak.

There is a fault line that runs trhough Las Colinas (Irving) where the earthquake occured…
It runs down the middlee of Hackberry gold course.
Anyone who has owned property in the area already are aware of it.

Just a matter of time before they have them.
It’s happened in the past will happen in the future.

Considering that, isn’t it reckless to inject massive amounts of fluids anywhere near this fault? rhetorical question.

Don’t you think it’s odd that all of the sudden it’s the fault of fracking causing the quakes when, 1) there are no active wells being drilled in irving, at least that is what the news says, 2) fracking has been used since the 1950’s with no problems until now (?), and irving and the surrounding area sit on the balcones fault which been sporadically active for longer than any of us have been around. And finally, any time you remove massive amounts of deep ground water from an area that does not get replenished, you get big underground emptiness and eventually something has to give, so if we stop drinking water that comes out of the ground the quakes will probably stop sooner than if we stop drilling. Just sayin…

If what you say is true, I would agree. Just sayin…
But what you say is not true, except the part about removing groundwater. But in DFW people drink surface water. So I wonder who is removing all that groundwater. Just sayin…
